FREIGHT FORWARDER

Position: FREIGHT FORWARDER

Location: Bucharest

Scope of duties:

* Producing required customs documents;
* Liaising with third parties to move goods in accordance with customer requirements;
* Arranging payment of freight and other charges
* Producing sales invoices and processing purchase invoices
* Utilising systems to monitor real-time tracking of goods
* Working closely with customers, colleagues and third parties to ensure smooth operations to meet deadlines
* Maintaining communication and control through all phases of the journey, including the production of management reports and statistical and unit cost analysis
* Preparing and maintaining stock reports
* Providing administrative support to colleagues in other departments;


Required Skills & Experience:

* Freight forwarding experience and knowledge
* Customer clearance experience
* Strong administration and analytical skills
* Customer service experience and a strong telephone manner
