Front-End Developer

THE POSITION

We are looking for enthusiastic professionals, technically capable, willing to engage with fast growing and most advanced technology in UK utility industry. In this position, you would be expected to develop on the existing in-house utility modelling platform, which build with following technology stacks:

• Microsoft .net stacks (C#, SQL Server, Azure)
• NoSQL (MongoDb)
• Message Queue (RabbitMQ)
• JS/Typescript/Angular (+)
• An inhouse distributed framework

As a front developer, you will mainly focus on the User Interface (UI) development for internal and external users, building or adapting front-end functionalities as well as dashboards and graphical data displays.

You will be reporting directly to our CTO and engage with other company directors and managers for day to day activities.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is a solid professional, positive, with good self-discipline, keen eye for details and willing to learn and progress in his/her professional evolution. Whilst no previous utility experience is required, we instead look for candidates with a previous experience in front end development  for not less than 2

THE REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate we are considering has ideally an Engineer, Information Technology or other technical degree.

Skill required:

• Fluent English, able to work with remote colleagues and maintain a high level of communication;
• HTML and CSS (SCSS/SASS)
• 2+ years’ experience in Front End / Web UI developing with strong Javascript skills
• 1+ year experience in Typescript + one mainstream UI framework (Vue, Reactive, Angular)
• Experience with TDD and automated CI/CD

Desirable expertise:

• Cloud solution experience (Azure, AWS etc)
• Node
