Front-end Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop high quality interactive User Interfaces;
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the UI is implemented correctly;
• Understand client experience trends, web interfaces, standards and browser compatibility issues;
• Manage multiple priorities and offer accurate estimations of effort;
• Contribute to the Agile process.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in commercial web development;
• Confident in writing standards-compliant, efficient JavaScript (mainly);
• Confident in writing standards-compliant, semantic HTML and structured CSS/SASS(secondary);
• An excellent understanding of the DOM and popular JavaScript frameworks & libraries like Angular, and React;
• Very good communication and customer facing skills;
• Experience with testing and resolving cross browser/platform issues;
• An understanding of usability considerations and how to implement them;
• Good knowledge of Agile Development, Scrum Methodology;
• Experience with working withESTicro-services.

Desired skills:

• A good understanding of MVC fundamentals, and UI build tools (grunt, gulp or web-pack)
• A good understanding of version control systems
• Previous experience in working witheusable components and UI style guides
• Knowledge of TDD and BDD practices
• Experience working with CSS3, HTML5 and other next generation technologies
• An understanding of back-end technologies (Java, .NET)
