Frontend Developer

Job Description

• Develop new features and components part of our PEGA implementation functionalities
• Build user interfaces and mark-up for new functionalities
• Write quality code, following common best practices
• Support sprint team with regards to UX/UI relevant questions
• Conduct customer tests in the course of DCO sessions (test wireframes, customer labs)
• Fundamental knowledge on how to build responsive and accessible User Interfaces (W3C, WAI, BITV accessibility standards)
• The ability to promptly transform a set of functional/UX requirements into a working product
• Participate in meetings with various stakeholders

Ideal Candidate

• University degree in the field of information technology or proven experience
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Java - nice to have)
• Experience with Web Services Integration, REST, AJAX, ReactJS
• Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
• Collaborate with the UI/UX and the Development teams
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks including AngularJS and JQuery
• Good knowledge of English language (spoken & written) ; German is a plus
• Minimum 2 years progressive development experience
• Happy to work self-dependent as well as in a intercultural team
• Willingness and ability to travel 30% of the time
• Ability to conduct show-end-tell meetings with business partners
• Creativity, dedication and "can do" attitude
