Frontend Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Frontend Developer interested in building performant web apps. You will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users interact with and see in a web application, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to creating great quality software is required.

Responsibilities

• Use a variety of programming languages in order to create user-friendly web apps
• Work in multidisciplinary teams with other professionals such as back-end developers, mobile developers and designers
• Consider and implement optimizations for the applications
• Consider mobile responsiveness and all around browser support when building features
• Take initiative and propose suggestions for better solutions to problems
• Keep yourself updated with latest and emerging technologies

Skills

• Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques
• Knowledge of some SEO principles
• Experience with markup languages
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS and jQuery
• Computer Science (or equivalent) student or graduate
• Good English communication skills
• Problem solver, attentive to details and analytical thinker
• Team player, who can also self-manage while working alone
