Frontend Developer - NodeJs & VueJS

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Frontend Web Developer to help build and maintain our partner flagship platform application for financial services. Strong JavaScript and CSS abilities along with a working knowledge of VueJS and/or Node will be essential for this role. 

This position will be seated with approximately a dozen in-house front-end developers, and will collaborate within an Agile environment with the back-end team, technical leads, product owners and external vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Support complex and secure components for modern browsers written in the latest web standards;
• Design and implement modern VueJS components to support a large, complicated, ever evolving set of features targeting a corporate audience;
• Maintain a complex single page app with modern build tools;
• Write and expand testing and performance monitoring;
• Fix production issues and monitor application state;
• Work with Product Managers, QA, and Back-End engineers to move the development forward;
• Perform code reviews;
• Mentor junior developers.

What you need in order to join our team:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field;
• Experience with VueJS and Node;
• Prefer at least 2 years of experience in a software engineering role;
• Demonstrate knowledge in JavaScript including CommonJS and ES Module formats on Node JS 8+;
• Modern Browser development fundamentals including HTMS/ CSS/ JS;
• Familiarity with version control and continuous integration systems;
• Understanding the HTTP Standard and modern REST practices, including JSONAPI and GraphQL;
• Be able to work effectively on a Windows environment;
• Fluency in English.

 Useful experience:

• Hapi and WebPack;
• Atomic CSS;
• Git and Atlassian suite (JIRA, BitBicket, Bamboo);
• Docker, Kubernetes and Linux/ Bash experience.
