Job description
Working alongside technologists and subject matter experts, you will be responsible for implementing functionalities across an application designed for a large pharmaceutical company from the UK. Requirements: Backend:
- deep knowledge of serverless offering (we are running 95% on serverless technologies)
- experience managing and deploying services on AWS (we use a fully automated deployment pipeline and infrastructure as code)
- experience writing production software in GO (not critical as GO is a simple language)
- experience designing systems and architectures in AWS and careful evaluation of tradeoffs, mainly around security, cost, maintenance, reliability and ease of use
- experience designing and using relational and non-relational databases (mainly MySQL and DynamoDB)
Frontend:
- experience with Javascript, Typescript
- experience deployment websites in React
- experience with native development and React Native (nice to have)
- experience with GraphQL
General skills:
- ability to write meaningful unit and integration tests
- customer focused
- product focused: be open to be involved in the evolution of the product rather than just the engineering side of it
- experience working in Agile environments
