Full stack developer (Team Lead)

The project:

The project is a large service application developed for the telecom industry. This project is designed and built from scratch. The challenge for this is to build and implement a scalable and high availability system based on microservices using large data volumes, generate reports and integrate with third-party applications and systems. The project is build using the latest technologies and patterns such as microservices, CQRS, event-sourcing, Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker and Angular 8.

Experience:

• +5 years in Software Engineering;
• +1  years in Leadership;

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features, improve or extend existing ones
• Be involved in all aspects of product development, from user stories to final implementation and production support
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
• Pro-active and resilient approach when dealing with unexpected problems or bugs
• Coaching and motivating team members

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of Java
• Experience with Spring
• Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
• Strong knowledge with various design and architectural patterns
• Understanding of the full web stack
• Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
• Experience with GIT, Maven and continuous integration
• Good presentation and communication skills, especially in conveying technical information
• Have a good sense of organization to set expectations and keep deliverables on a timeline, with the ability to document, communicate and justify all technology decisions and directions;
• Ability to technically mentor colleagues

Nice to have:

• Experience implementing microservices and/or working with containers
• Experience with event-driven architecture, CQRS
• Experience with Message Queues, ideally Kafka
• Experience with Caching systems, ideally Redis
• Experience with a web application framework, ideally Angular 2+.
• Basic knowledge of building applications on top of Docker, Kubernetes
