In the past couple of months, we've been working hard on making one of the fastest real-estate portals in the world (just to give you a hint about the work that we do). Our environment is low on processes and meetings with a strong emphasis on best practices and code quality. We have loosely defined teams of people who put a high value on personal autonomy. Smart and getting things done
We're looking for people who enjoy programming, are good at it and are not caught up in ideological wars about technology. Someone who is pragmatic enough to realise that life is too short not to use the right tool for the job.
At the moment we're using a mix of Python and Javascript. But tomorrow? Who knows?
If you want to join us, be ready to learn about building fast and scalable websites that never go down (ok, that don't go down without a serious reason that is out of our hands) and then actually do it.
Technology
We don't really believe the technology is that important as a recruiting filter so it is not relevant what you already know as long as you are a good programmer in any programming language. You will have ample time to ramp up just fine. But. We know you want to know so here is the stack:
- Python, Django, React, Redux, Express
- Other buzzwords: Universal Web Apps, Machine Learning, Heroku, AWS, Algolia
