Web Digital Project Manager –  (Full Time remote role from any European country)

We are now looking to extend our team with a  Web Project Manager that can help us continue what we started.

Responsibilities:

The role of the Project Manager is to estimate, plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

• Ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget confidently and efficiently;
• Help defining project estimates, scope, goals and deliverables;
• Defines tasks, anticipate blockages, risk assessment and required resources;
• Collects and manages project teams, manages budget, allocates project resources;
• Creates schedule and project timeline;
• Supports and directs the team. ensures team adheres to processes and industry best practices;
• Leads quality assurance;
• Monitors and reports on project progress;
• Presents to stakeholders reports on progress, as well as problems and solutions;
• Evaluates and assesses the result of project;
• Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects; Help with troubleshooting/root cause analysis when team members are unable to proceed;

• Uses appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs;
• Measures project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques;
• Identifies areas of improvement (training, processes, new tools) that the team needs for long-term objectives;
• Be an internal source of expertise in the digital field and respond swiftly and concisely to any questions or queries
• Support the digital production operators through regular one on ones and performance review and feedback to guide their progress within the company
• Reports and escalates to management as needed;
• Manages the relationship with the client and all stakeholders;
• Performs risk management to minimize project risks;
• Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation. share any documents required to simplify and standardize the work of the digital team
• Monitor and maintain production deadlines
• Report to the directors and clients on a daily basis
• Full responsibility for the success of the project

The ideal candidate:

• Has project management experience in implementation of medium to large scale projects;
• Previous experience in delivering software implementation projects is mandatory;
• Having played multiple project team roles in software implementation projects is a great asset;
• Represented the “customer” in software implementation projects (advantage);
• Good knowledge of IT tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Bitbucket, etc);
• Familiar with software lifecycle;
• Working experience with both Waterfall & Agile project methodologies; Promote agile methods and good practices;
• Critical thinking and problem-solving approach;
• Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities;
• Contract negotiation;
• Adaptability, able to tolerate stress;
• Self starter, Positive ‘can do’ attitude

What you’ll do:

• Understand business overall picture;
• Facilitate team events: sizing, planning, standup, review, retrospective; adapt them and coach the teams in getting the most out of each;
• Identify and remove blockers;
• Track progress, analyze workflow efficiency, support the team in improving the workflow;
• Manage communication with remote team members;
• Clarify requirements, work with user stories and acceptance criteria;
• Identify risks and involve the team in mitigating them;
• Empower the teams, raise ownership;
• Manage expectations and assure transparency between development team and product team;
• Conflict resolution;
• Consolidate strong relationships with stakeholders;

What we are looking for:

• Solid digital project management 3+ years’ experience in web/IT;
• Technical profile to the extent of having conversations with developers;
• Experience with Jira including configuration.
• Experience managing CRM bonus not essential.
• Good time management skills, highly organized with the ability to bring order and structure in any topic;
• Self learner with problem solving skills and critical thinking;
• Trustworthy and reliable team player;
• Drive for continuous improvement;
• Results and People oriented
• Resilience, empathy, positivity and quick adaptability;
• Pragmatic, team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing account manager/project manager teams
• The ability to function productively under pressure
• English – Advanced Level
• Passion for and understanding of internet technologies is as must

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills

We would like the candidate to have:

• Project management experience in outsourcing software projects
• Past software development experience in minimum one programming language

Nice to have:

• Databases experience
• DevOps or AWS experience

Non-technical skills and values:

• Strong interest in software development.
• Focus on self-improvement.
• Capability to work in virtual teams and/or with remote clients.

Education and certifications:

• Studies in Computers Science, Mathematics or related discipline. Or demonstrable time served experience in this role.
