Ideal candidate for the General Ledger position:

• Experience in General Ledger (at least 2 years);
• Advanced language skills in English & German;
• Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications;
• Knowledge of and ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports;
• Experience of SAP/Datev/Oracle systems preferable;
• Good all-round Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare month end reporting in a timely and accurate manner, with emphasis on detailed analysis;
• Perform a review of both B/S and P/L for errors, omissions or inconsistencies, variance analysis;
• Interpreting and analyzing actual results and variances;
• Responsible for the balance sheet accounts reconciliation process, including cash transactions reconciliation;
• Preparation and posting of journal entries;
• Fixed Assets accounting.
