• Drives or coordinates the activities to identify technical projects to be worked out within the network, like: technology benchmarks, new technologies development, improvement of existing, improving of standards (CAs/TSTs), strategic projects, tools, components/materials releases, technology roadmaps
• Drives or supports the necessary financial or strategic justification to get management sponsorship for the networks projects
• Ensures every network project is executed with a clear goal and a transparent structure
• Fosters the active collaboration of the network
• Defines and manages knowledge sharing strategies between the different BUs / Plants
• Working on invention and promotion of new products, technical solutions and strategies
• Searching for new ideas and patents in own expert field internally
• Improve existing products/processes by application of own expertise
• Define roadmap/projects for smart/automated SMT production.
