We are looking for a Global Sourcing Responsible.

In his new role, Global Sourcing Responsible should be analysing and coordinating the company’s end to end sourcing operations. The successful candidate shall be able to appraise and improve our sourcing activities by analyzing the company’s spend, building partnerships, comparing purchases in the regions, etc. with the following

Responsabilities:

• Analyze and asses the company supply portofolio ensuring transparency of spending;
• Generate and propose efficent sourcing and category management strategies;
• Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure;
• Propose negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals;
• Share best practices of sourcing procedures and suppliers to attain maximum efficiency;
• Cooperate with the stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes;
• Compare common consumption costs (materials and utilities);
• Perform costs and scenario analysis and benchmarking;
• Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques;
• Discover and propose partnerships with trustworthy vendors and suppliers.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a sourcing manager or procurement manager;
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management;
• Knowledge in our specific industry is a plus but not a must (foundry, machining and finishing);
• Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement;
• Strong project management and communication skills;
• Ability to negotiate and development of networking relationships;
• Sound with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data;
• Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions;
• BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
