Your Role Take lead in deploying the Lean Principles at site level through the basic tools that Lean Six Sigma methodology offers. The Site Green Belt will be the key representative of Continuous Improvement culture for our Contract Logistics site in Ploiesti in alignment with the local management teams.
Your Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain continuous improvement techniques and Kuehne-Nagel Process Systems-tools such as: lean six sigma, 5S, visual management, standardization, process status boards, process control boards, and more.
- Validate DMAIC savings and CI progress with Site Manager and National Process Systems Manager and document through the Corporate Tracker tool.
- Train, coach, and support of employees at various levels in the site on in applying continuous improvement techniques and tools.
- Actively identify and create the conditions to reach a culture of participation and involvement in which continuous improvement becomes self-evident.
- Perform administration linked to continuous improvements such as developing and maintaining training LSS - manuals, LSS – documentation, reporting on the progress of the Kuehne-Nagel Process Systems implementation, and more.
- Active participation in VSM (Value Stream Mapping) events with the operational teams to identify improvement opportunities and DMAIC projects throughout the business.
- Identify, lead and deliver LSS Green Belt level projects for the sites in line with site objectives and budget requirements together with operational teams.
- Identify and contribute to solutions that add value to customers’ business.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor or Master Degree in logistics or business economics.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt with at least 3 years’ experience in leading several LSS Green Belt projects (plus: knowledge of Minitab) it will be an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of lean philosophy and experience in implementation of lean tools or lean program.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or supply chain environment.
- Leadership, managing performance, customer focus, team player.
- Medium level in MS Office pack tools usage.
- Open to offer support to other sites for a limited period based on need.
- Excellent communication skills, process driven with strong analytical and problem solving skills along with a strong commercial acumen.
- Change management skills, team motivation, and development of people.
- Share enthusiasm for our business - respectful and accountable, high level of self and team motivation and have a proven history of achievements and successes.
