We are currently looking to strengthen our Plant team with a

Group Technical Product Manager and Quality

In this position, our future colleague will operate as Group Technical Product Manager and Quality, by supporting all projects to entire Plant.

• Reports to: Group Quality Manager and Plant Manager

• Direct reports: Quality technicians, quality analyst

Tasks and responsibilities include:

Objective of this role is to have overall product / technical responsibility at group level for a specific product range throughout the product lifecycle :

• Manage projects and develop product range performance in term of Cost / Quality and Leadtime

• Define the product ranges and work closely with the Group Marketing and Industry team to ensure that all development are in line with the overall Marketing and Industrial strategy and objectives.

• Write, standardise and communicate all relevant product technical documentation.

Quality main tasks:

• Creation of specification for each new product using the standard Wirquin group documents.

• Validation purchased products (samples)

• Ensure that all products of the range are in accordance with the group requirements in term of specification and that all specification are stored at the same place

• Work with the Quality departments of all subsidiaries to manage process of product testing and approvals from initial samples to mass production.

• Work with the Quality departments of all subsidiaries to reduce potential quality issues and claims

• Ensures and is responsible for the management of the quality system according to ISO 9001: procedures, work instructions, internal audits, external audits (ISO, NF, etc.), supplier audits, product testing and preparation of test reports, product validation

• Responsible for waste management for the company: monthly / annual reports to the environment, maintaining documentation according to current legislation, accountable to the authorities for the type of controls

• Responsible for the implementation of H&S and the implementation of WIRQUIN group standards

Education and Experience:

• You have a higher education,

• You have at least 3 years of experience in a Quality department,

• You have an experience in a technical industrial environment (production would be a plus), engineering and product development, lean development/engineering

• A fluent level of English is required,

• You are versatile, proactive, organized and have a sense of priorities,

• You are recognized for your interpersonal skills and your ability to work in team
