Hardware Design Engineer

By joining Emerson as a Hardware Design Engineer, you will work in a multicultural team located in Cluj, Romania.

As part of the Integrated Solutions Center team based in Cluj-Napoca, we can help you to put your skills to the test in order to finish the hardware design activities in compliance with all Project Management Office processes and procedures. Also, other responsibilities will be regarding the hardware part of the automation system, including system architecture, cabinet design, network and field in system interfaces.

In this role you will:

• Be responsible for the electrical hardware design in close collaboration with the Hardware Leader and Project Manager from Front Sales Offices;
• Coordinate and support the hardware activities of the project team, the hardware implementation activities with Instrumentation Center and all the project activities about hardware factory acceptance test;
• Follow the team working methods, procedures, tools, and identify areas of improvement where needed;
• Ensuring hardware design is in conformity with customer and industry standards.

For this role you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and good knowledge of Engineering and Design programs such as AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical;
• Minimum 1 year experience (as Hardware Engineering/in a project related environment);
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English (other languages like French, German, Spanish is an advantage);
• Computer Literate (knowledge of MS Office package);
