Hardware Designer

Gi Group Romania is recruiting a Hardware Designer for or our client, a high innovative company.

Responsibilities:
• Design and simulate new digital and/or analog circuits, functional blocks and interconnects for our Liquid Handling products;
• Collaborate with design teams such as mechanical and software;
• Close collaboration with other involved departments in different product development stages;
• Maintain released designs and validate replacements for obsolete components.
• Perform design validation reports;
• Manage technical aspects and monitor efficient deployment of new technologies and systems;
• Support the RFQ activities for new projects;
• Perform feasibility studies;

Requirements:
• Technical University degree;
• Good English skills, German is a plus;
• Good experience with schematic design;
• Experience with board layout;
• Basic understanding of programming languages;
• EMC basic knowledge;
• Experience in product development;
• Experience with Mentor Graphics Expedition (preferably);
• A good team player;
• Creative and positive thinking.
