Health and safety specialist

Porta KMI Romania is searching for a very positive, organised, good English speaker, problem solver person for the position of  Health and safety specialist.

You will be responsible to:

• Coordinate and monitor all preventive and protection activities, in accordance with the legislation in force
• Elaborate specific training instructions and participate in the research and reporting of work accidents
• Perform periodical training for the employees
• Provide individual protective equipment for all the employees
• Elaborate, update and manage the specific documentation provided by the legislation 
• Ensure the periodical medical checking of employees
• Verify the compliance with the norms and their fulfillment in time and elaborate fire protection measures
• Performs workplace audits and reports

Ideally you should have:

• University degree -  technical
• Experience  -  at least 1 year
• MS Office  -  Advanced Level
• Health and Safety Training - at least 80 hours
• Fire fighting course 
• Environmental management systems course
• Waste management knowledge 
• Ability to adapt to new situations
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English language
• Readiness for occasional business trips 
• Ability to organize independent work in a self-discipline culture
