Health and safety specialist

Main responsibilities:

• Permanent identification, together with the managers of jobs, of the hazards and evaluation of risks for each component of the work system, respectively worker, work load, work means/work equipments and work environment per workplace/workstation;
• Updating of the prevention and protection plan;
• Drawing up of own instructions to complete and/or apply regulations of safety and health at work, taking into consideration the particularities of activities and of the unit/enterprise, as well as of workplaces/workstation;
• Proposes the assignments and liabilities in the field of safety and security at work, falling on the workers, corresponding to exercised functions, which are registered in the job description, having the employer’s approval;
• Verifies if all the workers know and apply the measures provided in the plan of prevention and protection, as well as the assignments and responsibilities falling on them in the field of safety and health at work, established in the job description;
• Ensures if the workers are informed and trained in the field of safety and health at work and verifies if they know and apply the received information;

• Manage the emergency situations: filling in, transmission, authorization and updating of the list with hazardous substances, classified according to law;

Requirements:

• Technical University;
• 3-5 years experience in a similar position:
• Good knowledge of MS Office;
• Very good level of English
