For our factory in Timisoara, producer of telecom antennas, we are recruiting Health&Safety Specialist:

Responsibilities:

• Elaborates specific work safety instructions, PSI instructions;
• Elaborates and updates the risk assessment on jobs / trades according to the legal provisions;
• Performs OSH and SU training for employees;
• Performs checks at all workplaces to verify compliance with specific instructions of OSH, PSI, SU;
• Follows the safe use of equipment and machinery;
• Proposes attributions and responsibilities in the field of safety and health at work, which belong to the workers, corresponding to the functions exercised, which are recorded in the annexes to the job description approved by the employer;
• Prepares procedures and instructions, conducts trainings and verifies the degree of knowledge and application by all workers of the measures provided in the prevention and protection plan, as well as of their attributions and responsibilities in the field of occupational safety and health, established by the job description;
• Keep track of high and specific risk areas;
• Ensures contact with the occupational physician and keeps records of jobs that require additional medical examinations;
• Informs the employer, in writing, on the deficiencies found during the controls performed at the workplace and proposes elimination measures;
• Ensures the record of the work equipment and ensures that the periodic verifications of the work equipment are performed by competent persons, according to the legal provisions;
• Identifies the personal protective equipment necessary for the company's workstations and draws up the necessary equipment for workers with personal protective equipment;
• Participates in the research of events, according to the competencies and elaborates reports regarding the work accidents suffered by the workers;
• Prepares and follows the update of the intervention plan, of the prevention and protection plan and of the evacuation plan;
• Proposes sanctions for workers, based on the criteria of fulfilling the attributions in the field of safety and health at work and SU;
• Prepares risk assessments for each work component.

Main requirements:

• University Degree;
• SSM course with a duration of 80 hours;
• Postgraduate risk assessment course with a duration of 180 hours;
• Technical framework course with SU attributions;
• Technical knowledge of equipment;
• Knowledge of English - advanced level;
• PC knowledge: Using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) - advanced level, speed and accuracy;
• Ability to plan, organize and control;
• Very good communication and relationship skills;
• Attention to details
