The Payroll Analyst will process, validate and correct payroll issues for the client’s employees according to the client’s service level agreements. This individual will assist in the correction and resolution of all data-generated errors, monitor and escalate all systems-related errors that could prevent the client's employees from receiving proper payments or jeopardize delivery of accurate payroll data.
Responsibilities:
- Performs high level validation on pay results for 3rd party Payroll partner pay runs
- Manages client employee data related to new hires, terminations, personnel master file changes and employee time
- Performs peer check audits of all data files submitted to vendors for processing
- Research and resolve payroll processing questions from management and the client.
Requirements:
- Advanced level in English; second language (German, French, Spanish- it is a plus even if it is beginner level);
- Organized and detail orientated – keen in keeping accurate records of their activity
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Able to work towards deadlines
Good to have:
- Previous payroll processing knowledge to understand how changes in the system or HR administration can impact payroll
- Proficiency with various software applications
- Strong analytical skills to statistically graph and trend changes in payroll
- Capable of understanding system transactions impacting payroll and benefits
- Ability to process a high volume of detailed work in a short timeframe
