Description

Role Summary:
Responsible for the delivery of multiple wing-to-wing HR Operations and Payroll & Benefits processes through effective relationship with the various internal & external stakeholders.
Essential Responsibilities:
HR and Payroll Administration (60%)
• Deal with all customer enquiries in a professional, courteous & timely manner
• Consistently follow defined HR and Payroll processes, challenging steps that may not make sense / add value
• Support the use of Global Payroll Tools by providing ongoing maintenance, configuration, testing and access control
• Maintain process documentation in accordance with relevant labor legislation & Data Privacy regulations
• Provide and maintain documentation of HR lifecycle, employee lifecycle and other HR processes
• Provide ad-hoc operational support for assigned processes
• Participate in internal and external HR and Payroll audits
Oversight of Service Delivery (20%)
• Monitor service delivery metrics and third-party supplier performance
• Take accountability for compliance with relevant legislation and GE policies
• Measure client satisfaction and develop & communicate action plan to mitigate any operational risk or to resolve escalated issues (NPS-detractor cases and escalations)
• Handle first level escalations and log into in CRM
Refinement of Assigned Process & Provision of Process Expertise (20%)
• Proactively seek customer feedback to identify areas for process improvement, standardization and productivity within assigned process. Participate and support projects.
• Advise on complex questions/requests from the HR community/regional Global Operations HR centre concerning the area of expertise in a professional, courteous & timely manner
• Build and share knowledge of area of expertise by continuously keeping up to date with internal and external updates and changes

Required profile

Qualifications/Requirements:
"Experience of a HR or Operations process ownership rolein a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
Process mind-set, understanding of core HRoperational processes
Decisiveness,self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
Experience of driving strong performance from third-party suppliers & remote teams
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks & work to deadlines
Comfortable delivering against quantitative and qualitative performance metrics
Experience of analysing and improving operational processes in a matrix organisation
Proven ability to work professionally & proactively with a remote client base
Fluency in local language and English, with polite, professional communication skills
Ability to anticipate and resolve challenges
Strong IT skills including Excel, Word and Oracle
Confidentiality &controllership mindset
