Position Overview: This role supports the end to end compensation process and is responsible for analytical and modelling activity in support of design and development,  setting up the country system, managing country payrolls and providing intelligent data for management teams.

This role has International scope supporting all lines of business, accountable for managing a compensation budget of the business for both direct and indirect sales, delivery and operational roles assigned to Incentive plans. 

As an International Sales Compensation & Incentive Analyst your focus will be upon:

  • Undertakes analytical reporting and modelling in support of strategic design and planning, validates strategic requirement versus capability of process. Collaborates with Management and Programming team to ensure direction can be implemented in line with direction. Creates a register of pay plans per role, country and region and ensures each signed payee plan is filed in a secure file.
  • Examines measure requirements and ensures data is available to support performance of measure.
  • Studies strategy, rules, principals and  legislation to ensure the correct application of compensation
  • Maintains commission system to ensure accurate employee to plan alignment
  • Undertakes effective work planning to ensure all tasks are delivered on time, prioritized and the wider team resource is utilized
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues and queries and ensure resolution and reduction targets are achieved through creative and proactive application.
  • Undertakes pre-payroll validations in line with audit regulations issuing high payment authorizations to Snr. Management.
  • Extracts data from the commission system to format in preparation for analysis.   Investigate variance and summarize data story.   Prepare dashboard of monthly management reports and organize meetings with Country SLT
  • Acts as stand in for Team Leader/Manager at Snr. Leadership/team/Planning or Project meetings
  • Management of multiple accountabilities and priorities with limited resource and time.
  • Developing  alternatives/opportunities/recommendations in short order to meet financial tasks to the total incentive compensation spend budget at the outset and at any time during the calendar year
  • Determining how and where to get data/information in order to determine/provide analytics for executive level decision-making.   Dealing with new and immediate requests for information across a large geography where data may or may not be immediately available.
  • Managing a resolution and query reduction target when often the resolution is in the control of a country snr. Manager.

What you need to be Successful

  • Advanced level of German and English
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proactive and assertive
  • Experience in the MS Office at an Advanced level
  • Flexibility to be able to meet customer needs
  • basic reading and writing ability and the use of simple arithmetic.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to take a broad perspective to problems and identify new, less obvious solutions
  • PC and IT literate
  • Effective listening
