HR Manager

Supporting the Plant Manager and the site leadership teams, the Human Resources Manager has responsibility for all Human Resource activities and programs in Arad.  This position serves as a business partner focused on areas such as HR strategy, mergers and acquisitions, organizational development and effectiveness, talent management and development, hiring, staffing and retention, succession planning, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee and labour relations, diversity, legal compliance, general administration and payroll.  

Your key deliverables:

• Partner with the local leadership team as strategic business/human resource leader
• Support achievement of overall business objectives through the design and implementation of effective HR strategy, programs, practices, policies and tools
• Develop and implement organizational structure and alignment recommendations linked to strategy.  Capable of leading organizational redesign projects
• Lead significant recruitment and training/upskilling projects 
• Lead / coordinates HR due diligence and integration activities
• Help the business ensure there is a continuing talent pool of skills and leadership available to drive the business. This will include providing  leadership in succession planning, training, talent development and performance management
• Coach and develop high performing plant HR and staff
• Develop, recommend and implement policies, procedures and employee feedback tools 
• Ensure company values and principles are sustained and takes a lead role in fostering a work environment that is focused on building customer loyalty, innovation, globalization, talent development and operational excellence
• Develop and support operational and process improvement programs that lead to a more lean and efficient business
• Work with the EMEA Corporate compensation team, ensure an effective compensation structure is in place 
• Create organizational capacity for change, leading and sponsoring programs 
• Develop and monitor labour-management relations and human resource strategies 
• Deploy an effective employee communications strategy 
• Work with the local HR Service Centre team 
• Ensure the company is in compliance with all applicable legislation 

profile Are you?

• Educated at Bachelors’ degree, preferably in HR? Master’s degree is preferred.
• Coming with minimum 5 years HR leadership experience within the manufacturing industry?
• Experienced in change management projects?
• Possessing demonstrated working knowledge of Romanian employment legislation?
• Prior experience with project management roles is beneficial
• Possessing business acumen with financial skills, especially cost centre management and business case analysis and development.?
• Business focused?
• Able to balance tactical with strategic parts of role?
• Ready to work within matrix organisation & is organisationally agile?
• Having an international mindset?
• Strong, clear communicator (Romanian & English)?
• Having strong leadership courage?
• Highly experienced of upholding ethical behaviour?
