HR Operations Team Leader TSR
The HR Operations Center Payroll Team Leader is responsible for the execution of payroll activities within SAP HCM, ensuring that payroll processing, financial and governmental reporting are compliant. Services portfolio: 9 Legal Entities with overemployees.
Main Tasks
• Processes monthly payrolls;
• Performs and supervises all activities necessary to process 1 or more payrolls, including maintaining related records, filing reports, voluntary deduction reports, processing involuntary deductions such as garnishments, preparing accounting transactions and documents, documenting and updating procedures, and preparing special reports for the internal customers and authorities;
• Leads a team of 1 or 2 Payroll Practitioners or assistants. This is typically a "working supervisor" who spends more than 50% of time personally performing payroll processing and related activities;
• Acts as liaison between the payroll team and HR IT to implement required system revisions and improvements;
• Answer questions from employees in the Task Management System or phone;
• Ensures compliance with Company’s internal controls and policies and procedures;
• Challenge the processes and drive the continuous improvement opportunities for the group.
Requirements
• Must be knowledgeable of all RO laws as related to payroll administration;
• Strong customer service focus;
• Good English written and verbal communication;
• Advanced Excel skills required;
• Minimum of 3 years experience in SAP HCM;
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Payroll processes;
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience;
• Payroll System implementation is a plus.
