In this role you will support the organisation within the manufacturing units and parts business. You will work in collaboration with the HSE network and the Group Sustainability team in driving the Konecranes HSE vision, strategy, and management framework . You will be the HSE Business Partner to the BA Industrial Service and Equipment, BU Supply Operations and be a member of the management team .
As
HSE Director, ISE Manufacturing you belong to the Group Human Resources organisation and will directly report to the VP HSE.
The location of the position is flexible and can be in any major country of Konecranes.
Your key responsibilities:
- Strategic operational leadership of occupational health and safety risk management, compliance hazard and injury management, and the overall health, safety and wellbeing of our employees, clients, and environmental aspects.
- Oversee, review, and develop the organisation’s HSE framework in compliance with Konecranes HSE policies, procedures, and processes and support the organization to comply with legislations.
- Lead, plan and drive health, safety and environment awareness and a safe workplace culture across the organisation.
- Active role in organizations development and use of HSE related trainings and promotion of them to the local teams and review of completion rate.
- Review incident investigations and support the organization in investigations, root cause analysis and actions.
- Active role in serious incident (SIF) management with investigations, management reviews, communications and follow ups.
- Active role in establish and review HSE KPI’s, based on KC global HSE goals and CVD’s and support the organization in achieving, risk reduce and improve HSE awareness.
- Monitor and analyse performance, and together with the organization identify improvement opportunities.
- Active communicate with stakeholders and Business partners.
- Frequent presence in the manufacturing units to e.g., support, coach, train, audit and so on.

What should you bring?
- Academic degree, preferably Occupational Safety or similar.
- Professional experience in HSE management, risks and opportunities.
- Professional experience in project/product management.
- Ability to understand different processes and systems together with a continuous improvement approach and mindset.
- Strategic orientation with a practical touch in driving change
- Experience in standard based management systems
- Good communication skills, with the operational organisation and other stakeholders.
- English language fluency.
