HSE Manager

We present a role of Health and Safety Manager within a multinational company located in Mures county.

Ideal candidate:

• University degree in technical field (mechanical engineering- preferable)
• Environment and Safety qualification degree required by Romanian Legislation
• Experience with related software (Office, ERP - SAP, EHS Software)
• Excellent communication skills in English and Romanian language (written and oral)
• 5 or above years of experience in Health, Safety and Environment and Fire Services in a manufacturing / production environment
• Strong organisational skills, provides leadership, pro-active mindset
• Performance management of the team, it’s an excellent team player and projects coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Provides supports to Top Management within his roles and responsibilities in the organization, regarding all aspects that concern safety & HSE Policies and Guidelines.
• Coordinates and monitors the effective implementation of Safety and Environment System procedures and is actively involved in updating them according to latest changes in Legislation and Company Directives
• Coordinates and improves the efficiency of training process and presentations related with health and safety matters and accident prevention
• Carries out analysis of accidents / incidents statistics, identifies trends and develops improvement plans
• Coordinates the investigation of work accident / incident
• Develops and coordinates the implementation of health and safety plans and procedures in all workplaces according to legal requirements and internal policies
• Monitors the inspection process of all equipment and machineries in order to prevent possible work accidents and unsafe conditions
• Provide solutions and improvement opportunities
