You will be part of GIS & Hydro discipline in Arcadis Iasi office, where we have specialists who are using mathematical, scientific and computational tools from several domains to develop and sustain modern and risk-free communities. Also, we are conducting, advising, designing and coordinating the implementation of solutions to prevent, control and remedy the adverse effects of human activity on the environment.

Using a variety of engineering disciplines and computational tools – CAD and GIS technologies – we are creating and analyzing spatial data for planning, resource management, habitat conservation, wetland restoration, hydro-morphological measures or river regulation, energy projects, etc.

We also manage field data, create database and we are mapping for different Environmental projects.

ArcGIS, Autodesk platforms and the Hydraulic modelling software sustain our aim to provide competent, reliable skilled solutions in a cost-effective way.

Job description

This is a full-time role. Your main responsibilities will include, without being limited to:

• Design works for various water projects: Waste water system networks and Flood protection projects.
• Hydraulic Modelling for waste water networks;
• Handle geographical data, interpret them as well;
• To study and analyze the details involved in the survey reports and any other data that has the geological or topographical details and to pay attention to the details in the blue prints, maps, and other related drawings;
• Dike reinforcement solutions;
• Detailing special hydro constructions;
• Help in creating concepts and designing structures to support the assigned purpose;

• Maintain the contact with the line manager and deliver the input in time/budget.

   

  Requirements

• At least Bachelor’s Degree (Hydrotechnical Engineering);
• At least 2 years’ professional experience in waste water systems or flood projects, in a design position;
• Basic knowledge of modelling packages;
• Understanding digital surface models;
• Basic understanding of hydraulic structures design;
• Strong AutoCAD knowledge, Civil 3D is a plus;
• GIS knowledge;
• Data management tools: ArcGIS, MapINFO, others;
• Strong English language skills;
• Accuracy and focus on details;
• Client focus and strong communication skills;
• Technical and quality focus;
• Great interpersonal skills (team work, supportive attitude, eager to learn, proactivity).
