We are currently seeking a Junior Consultant to join our Energy Team in Bucharest.

What are we looking for?

Recent university graduate (Romanian or foreign universities) in Economics, Finance, Technology, Mathematics, IT, Law or a related discipline with a strong academic record

Fluency in both Romanian and English

Good communication and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing

Strong analytical and quantitative skills

Curiosity and a lifelong learning mindset

Out of the box thinking

Good judgment & decision-making skills

Business-oriented attitude, creativity and assertiveness

Good team player who takes ownership of their actions.

Previous working or internship experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

To work on one or more project topics (Energy Advisory, Management Consulting, Mergers and Acquisitions, Financial Modelling, Valuation etc.) under the supervision of experienced advisory professionals

To conduct and document meetings and interviews with clients or other parties involved in the project

To use several methods to conduct research activities

To organize and analyze data and prepare presentations and other deliverables for clients

To be able to analyze a business problem from various angles and develop preliminary hypotheses

What will you do?

In this role you will work in teams of 2-5 consultants, within our Energy and Natural Resources management consulting team, in all aspects of a client engagement. This includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations.

• Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
• Valuation;
• Regulatory strategy;
• Corporate strategy;
• Corporate finance;
• Financial modelling.

Our Energy and Natural Resources management consulting team has provided professional services in relation to all the major energy sector milestones over the past 20 years. You will be able to participate in projects developed for large international energy companies, but not limited to this industry, such as: large M&A projects, including renewable energy generation projects, assessment of investment opportunities financing assistance, feasibility studies, market models, market assessment, large investment projects impact assessment, regulatory design and assistance, competition and dispute advisory, strategy development, energy regulatory due diligence, etc.
