IMDS Coordinator

Overview: As an IMDS Coordinator you collaborate with internal departments to acquire product BOM structure and conduct the IMDS-Reporting for all parts.

Key Activities

• Manage incoming IMDS requests and adheres to customer timeline
• Evaluate suppliers IMDS-submissions, follow-up with suppliers to submit correct IMDS
• Manage the creation, validation and submission of IMDS data and understands each customer’s unique requirements
• Analyze IMDS data and determine if they are acceptable under the current IMDS criteria; manage corrective action with support from material experts
• Cooperate on the preparation of product declaration with material experts in Germany
• Support IMDS activities worldwide

Desired Profile

• University degree in the field of material engineering, chemistry engineering or a comparable education
• Relevant working experience in a comparable position
• Familiarity with IMDS system
• Knowledge of environmental regulations such as REACH,
• ELV would be an advantage
• Proficient in MS office applications
• Ability to meet tight dead-line and simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks
• Ability to work with cross function personnel/teams
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal in English
