In this role, you have the opportunity to
-
Be in the heart of the industrial footprint for one of the fastest growing sites within Philips. You will oversee the Quality Assurance in the processes related to the manufacturing of materials, components, sub-assemblies and completed products and their supply chain, including compliance to regulatory requirements and/or procedures for regulated products/businesses. The processes include the introduction/validation of new/changed manufacturing processes and their associated Q systems, the trend analysis and monitoring of manufacturing processes and their environment, the remediation to non-conformances, and the development and improvement of Q systems.
You are responsible for:

Ensuring that appropriate quality plans are made and a suitable quality system is in place, for both NPI’s as well as for ongoing manufacturing that include all stages of the manufacture of the product/system and supports Quality System design;

Managing, coordinating and organizing the team of the Acceptance Control, Finished Product Control, Life Samples Laboratory;

Overseeing processes: trend analysis, assess impact and follow-up (in QS updates, control plans, competency upgrades, etc.);

Validating risk analyses and risk mitigation plans and activities, control plans and Quality Systems;
-
Initiating actions to prevent the occurrence of any product, process and environmental-quality non-compliance, as well as corrective / preventive actions at the company and suppliers level and check at least quarterly, to apply the established corrective / preventive actions and their effectiveness;

Participating in the analysis of product nonconformities, analyzing periodically the process indicators and reporting the results to the Industrial Responsible and the General Manager;

Reviewing calibration plans and records, environmental controls and training plans and records;

Ensuring compliant and effective QMS’s are maintained in scope;

Maintaining, enforcing and managing a compliant and effective QMS for the activities in scope, as well as for effective and lean QMS structures and documents for Q&R processes at all levels;

Establishing the Philips QMS and managing its deployment;

Ensuring proper audit planning and schedule meeting the requirements of internal policies and external regulations;

Establishing and executing a transition plan for all QMS in scope while maintaining compliance and effectiveness throughout the duration of the transition to the Philips QMS.
You will be a core member of our leadership team based in Orastie. You will functionally report to the Senior Director Q&R Personal Care and administratively to the Plant Manager.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

University/Higher (Mechanical) Engineering education;

8 + years of proven successful experience in a similar role (Quality management) in a high profile (automotive / industrial / appliances) multinational company;

5 + years of proven experience in people management;
-
Strong data analyses skills, good knowledge of numbers/statistic techniques and excellent command of Excel;
-
Results oriented, with customer-centricity and solutions-thinking approach;
-
Must have knowledge of QMS, ISand 14001;
-
Knowledge of Lean and practical experience in Lean deployment and industrial quality techniques;
-
Strong business partnership and interpersonal skills at all levels in the organization;
-
Team player attitude;
-
Fluent in Romanian and English.
