RESPONSIBILITIES

- Performing daily operational 'eyes on glass' real-time monitoring and analysis of security events from multiple sources including but not limited to events from SIEM tools, network and host based IDS, firewall logs, system logs (Linux & Windows), applications and databases

- Perform vulnerability assessment and conduct penetration testing on network, systems and applications

- Provide Antivirus & Malware protection application administration and management

- Actively contribute to all ongoing and new information security and privacy projects.

- Keeping up to date with the latest information security and privacy related technologies.

- Monitor and maintain existing security infrastructure an deployed technologies

- Recognize potential risk areas to existing systems and take solutions from proposed to implemented

- Risk assessments and testing of IT systems

- Develop processes and response procedures to improve security incident management

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Information Technology experience with network technologies, specifically TCP/IP, and related network tools

- Awareness of mainstream operating systems (., Microsoft Windows and Linux) and different security technologies such as network security appliances, Identity and Access Management systems, Log and Event Management Tools, anti-malware solutions, automated policy compliance and desktop security tools, IDS, WiFi, PenTesting, User Awareness Education Programs, Security Compliance and Audit Programs, Security Incident Analysis, IDS/IPS, VPN, WAF, NAC, AntiVirus, Document Classification / DLP, OS Hardening, TCP/IP and data packet capture, networking fundamentals, common network services, network vulnerabilities and network attack patterns, Firewall policy management, Secure database applications, information security fundamentals including secure communications, encryption, and networking and security compensating controls

- Preferably familiar with Cisco, BitDefender and Fortinet security products
