IT Security Engineer

What we’re looking for?

• Scan of IT systems inside METRO Group and METRO web sites using automatic tools;  
• Monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information;  
• Write reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement;  
• Ensure proactive and reactive security measures in case of computer viruses;  
• Create scripts for automating scanning, patching, reporting processes.  

 
You’re a great fit if you: 

• University degree in information technology or comparable education;

• Good understanding of information and communications technology;

• Hands-on experience with Windows OS, Linux;  
• Familiarity with network/web related protocols;  
• Basic SQL knowledge;  
• Scripting knowledge;  
• Phyton and MySQL - will be a plus;  
• Excellent analytical skills;
• Ability to structure new / unknown topics and handle multiple tasks;
• High competency to solve problems;
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in international teams;
•  Very good command of English.
