Main tasks
Refarming UL2100 and GL900;
Non-refarming: LTE, LTE800, LTE900, LTE1800, LTE, LTE2600 integration, band addition and parameter adjustment;
2G / 3G on demand integration, sector addition, parameter adjustment (with regional management support for Core configuration);
5G Acceleration (preparation for 5G integration): 2G / 3G / LTE reconfiguration;
Hardware swap to new, Huawei 5000 series low band and high band RRUs;
Huawei BSC, RNC, 2G / 3G / 4G base station software upgrade, troubleshooting and routine maintenance action.
Required competencies
Excellent knowledge of Huawei U2000 / U2020;
Excellent knowledge of Huawei CME configuration and parameter adjustment according to external work orders;
Experience in Huawei LTE integration, band addition, configuration and troubleshooting;
Experience in Huawei UMTS integration, sector addition, configuration and troubleshooting;
Experience in Huawei GSM integration, sector addition, configuration and troubleshooting;
Familiar with Huawei BSC, RNC, 2G / 3G / 4G base station software upgrade, troubleshooting and routine maintenance action;
Minimum 5 years of experience in RAN operations, with at least 3 years in 2nd line RAN operations;
Experience with Huawei 5000 series Low Band and High Band RRUs;
Experience with Huawei shared RRU architecture;
Experience in working with Huawei BBU3900 and BBU5900 equipment;
Experience in Multi-vendor RET configuration (Kathrein, Commscope, etc. antennas);
Prior experience in RAN refarming projects is preferred;
Bachelor's Degree in telecommunications / electrical / electronic engineering or equivalent;
Fluent in spoken and written English, knowledge of German is an advantage;
Creative and critical thinking;
Being able to work in a dynamic technical project environment.
