Position Overview:

We are seeking to find an intermediate-level Angular/Java developer to join our team, on contract, to help develop our new enterprise-class B2B SaaS application. You will work in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of highly skilled senior developers, architects, user experience designers, and product visionaries.

While we are seeking a full-time candidate on contract, we are open to your joining our team on a part-time basis with the option to convert to a full-time role at a mutually convenient time.

Position Responsibilities

• In collaboration with the team, develop front-end UI features using AngularJS and help develop back-end web app features using J2EE technology, frameworks, and tools

• Write clean, concise, readable code that follows common design patterns and principles while maintaining coding standards and practices

• Participate in scrum meetings and deliver features on time as a team

• Manage time and multiple, competing priorities

• Learn new technologies and report on them as needed to help challenge the architecture

• Help maintain a positive, highly collaborative, execution-focused team environment

Job Requirements:

Must Have:

• BSc in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of combined experience in Angular, Java, and J2EE

• Familiarity with Angular based UI templates

• Detail-oriented with a passion for writing clean, easy-to-understand, maintainable and testable code

• Good Working knowledge on Spring Rest, Maven, GitHub, Spring Boot, Spring Core

• Experience with Agile (Scrum) development

• Demonstrable problem-solving skills

• Strong understanding of data structures and design patterns

• Stay current with the industry trends and best practices

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Independent (ability to work remotely), self-starter and collaborative team player

Nice to Have

• Front-end skills including HTML5, CSS, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, ReactJS, etc.

• Good hands-on experience in AWS/GCP, Restful Web services, NoSQL (MongoDB)

• Mobile applications development - iOS and/or Android
