IP MPLS Senior Engineer

Your day to day:

You will be part of multinational team responsible for IP MPLS Service design.
A day in the life of an IP MPLS Engineer means assessing requirements, creating appropriate designs & configurations for Vodafone’s Global IP VPN network, leading new solution designs or contributing to various projects, testing new configurations, documenting solutions and creating guidelines, supporting lifecycle management activities and assigning IP/MPLS network parameters.
 

With these activities, you will have a great impact on our business:

•    Clarifying requirements, performing advanced analysis and identifying optimal solutions
•    Creating IP solution designs for interconnecting various technology systems
•    Creating HLDs, LLDs, configuration guidelines, work order documents
•    Coordinating and leading projects or participating as IP network specialist
•    Defining test cases, testing new solutions and configurations
•    Managing IP address space, assigning IP/MPLS network parameters
•    Migrating services from legacy to new platforms
•    Sharing new ideas, contributing to optimization of existing solutions, tools and processes

With these skills, you are a great candidate:

•    Good knowledge of IP MPLS network architecture and design principles
•    Expert knowledge of IP MPLS technologies and routing protocols (MPLS VPN, TE, QoS, IPv6, MC, NNIs, BGP, IS-IS)
•    Good understanding of virtualization and automation technologies (NFV, SDN)
•    Good understanding of mobile networks and services
•    Ability to work within virtual teams and interface with multi-national clients
