IT/Application Engineer for Distribution Center

Job Description:

• Ensure availability of all necessary application / service knowledge and documentation in line with internal requirements
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and solve application problems (SAP, SAP WMS, Prime, etc.) to support the Operations Team
• Perform reviews for all technical changes in close collaboration with local ITOT team and with Global IT team (OS updates, antivirus, etc.) – validation and control of all test scenarios
• Manage and review application Access Control
• Plan and execute system obsolescence mitigation plan in collaboration with local and global ITOT teams
• Continuously improve existing applications providing top-notch documentations and change management processes
• Location is Western Europe

Desired Characteristics:

• Advanced knowledge of SAP (additionally SAP WMS as well as Prime and RTCIS)
• Knowledge on Windows Client/Server and Windows Domain
• Knowledge in Data Base administrator (MS-SQL preferred)
• Knowledge in network infrastructure principally working with Cisco
• Knowledge on Virtualization (VMWare)
• English (must) and French language
• Project management skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Software Development experience (methodology of solution development workflow)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology with at least 5 years’ experience in application management
