High Level Statement of the Role

The IT Coordinator will be responsible for leading the plant IT and software resources.

The IT Department is responsible for recommending, designing, and implementing application and data solutions to improve the systems, reports, and processes used by the operations, engineering, quality, and materials departments

• Manages IT budget

Detailed responsibilities

• Coordination of the optimal functioning of the IT equipment within the company (eg laptops, computers, printers, etc.) and of all IT tools / tools (eg Internet network, communications network, etc.).
• Coordination of support activities for users within the Company (eg. Email setup, support in unlocking the user account, etc.)
• Coordination of regulations / procedures and computer security activities of the company (eg access regulations, installation and updating of anti-virus software, etc.)
• Coordination of regulations / procedures for storing and security of information in computer systems and equipment (eg periodic back-up process, information security process, etc.)
• Coordination of the relationship with the suppliers in the IT area (eg suppliers of consumables for printers, suppliers of equipment and documents related to the guarantee of IT equipment, providers of Internet and telephony solutions, etc.).
• Collaboration with the structures and departments in the IT area of Kimball Electronics Group and from other KE sites (eg. IT KEPS - Poland, IT Shared Service Center, etc.).
• Coordinates the specific reporting activity in the IT area (for global reporting and for the Romanian site; eg input for operational indicators, etc.)
