Responsibilities:
IT endpoint support on hardware, networking and system software is mainly responsible for the correct running of computer systems and network, ensuring that users get maximum benefits from them.
- install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, system software
- monitor and maintain computer office & industrial systems and network
- troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or system software faults
- replace parts as required
- support the roll-out of new system software
- set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
- respond within agreed time limits by ticketing system
- rapidly establish a good working relationship with the users and other professionals, such as software developers
- support and advise the user on appropriate actions; talk users through a series of actions, face-to-face or remotely, to help set up systems or resolve issues
- test and evaluate new technology
- design and execute network extension
- contribute to ongoing projects
- follow up the backup jobs and provide restores
- follow-up and deploy the antivirus clients
- monitor the system using dedicated tool
- daily survey of the datacenter, act and/or related reports
- maintain adequate equipment stock levels and accurate asset inventory
- manage the schedule of the breaks related the working program, by given application
- priorities and manage many open cases at one time
- organize and streamline operational tasks to reduce the potential for errors
