IT Project Manager – 1 year fixed-term contract

Mega Image is looking for a full-time IT Project Manager, ready to take on a great challenge within our IT department.

The ideal candidate:

-Has project management experience in implementation of medium to large scale projects;

-Previous experience in delivering software implementation projects is mandatory;

-Having played multiple project team roles in software implementation projects is a great asset;

-Represented the “customer” in software implementation projects (advantage);

-Delivered projects for Finance Department (advantage);

-Exposure to regional (multi country) projects is an asset;

-Good knowledge of IT tools (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Projects, etc);

-Familiar with software lifecycle;

-Working experience with both Waterfall & Agile project methodologies;

-Availability to travel up to maximum 15% of working time;

-Critical thinking and problem-solving approach;

-Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities;

-Contract negotiation;

-Adaptability, able to tolerate stress;

-Good command of English.

Responsibilities:

-Ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget;

-Helps defining project scope, goals and deliverables;

-Defines tasks and required resources;

-Collects and manages project teams, manages budget, allocates project resources;

-Creates schedule and project timeline;

-Supports and directs team;

-Leads quality assurance;

-Monitors and reports on project progress;

-Presents to stakeholders reports on progress, as well as problems and solutions;

-Evaluates and assesses the result of project;

-Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects;

-Uses appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs;

-Measures project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques;

-Reports and escalates to management as needed;

-Manages the relationship with the client and all stakeholders;

-Performs risk management to minimize project risks;

-Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.
