IT Project Manager – 1 year fixed-term contract

Mega Image is looking for a full-time IT Project Manager, ready to take on a great challenge within our IT department.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has project management experience in implementation of medium to large scale projects;
  • Previous experience in delivering software implementation projects is mandatory;
  • Having played multiple project team roles in software implementation projects is a great asset;
  • Represented the “customer” in software implementation projects (advantage);
  • Delivered projects for Finance Department (advantage);
  • Exposure to regional (multi country) projects is an asset;
  • Good knowledge of IT tools (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Projects, etc);
  • Familiar with software lifecycle;
  • Working experience with both Waterfall & Agile project methodologies;
  • Availability to travel up to maximum 15% of working time;
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving approach;
  • Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities;
  • Contract negotiation;
  • Adaptability, able to tolerate stress;
  • Excellent command of English.

Responsibilities:

•             Ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget;

•             Helps defining project scope, goals and deliverables;

•             Defines tasks and required resources;

•             Collects and manages project teams, manages budget, allocates project resources;

•             Creates schedule and project timeline;

•             Supports and directs team;

•             Leads quality assurance;

•             Monitors and reports on project progress;

•             Presents to stakeholders reports on progress, as well as problems and solutions;

•             Evaluates and assesses the result of project;

•             Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects;

•             Uses appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs;

•             Measures project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques;

•             Reports and escalates to management as needed;

•             Manages the relationship with the client and all stakeholders;

•             Performs risk management to minimize project risks;

•             Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.
