IT Project Manager

Type of Job: Office or Remote (temporary)

Responsibilities:

• Manage company relationships with clients with respect to particular projects

• Manage Development team and Quality Assurance team to accomplish client requests

• Manage project timelines and keep the client up to date on project progress

• Organize and supervise code rollouts

• Daily responsibilities include communicating with clients, managing tasks for team developers, reviewing bugs reported by QA, project scoping and time tracking, meetings with the team and other departments, and scheduling and supervising code rollouts

Client Relationships Responsibilities:

• Promptly respond to client communications

• Hold recurring meetings/calls with clients

• Receive and address feedback from clients on desired functionality, bugs, etc.

• Be available to address client emergencies

Managing Team/Task Management Responsibilities:

• Create project tasks (epics, stories, sub-tasks, bugs) and improvement tasks in JIRA

• Recreate bugs created by QA and/or devs and clients

• Assign tasks to team developers

• Maintain appropriate workloads for team developers

• Manage resources to complete projects on time

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of project management experience in IT/Software industry (web and mobile development is preferred)

• Technical background is a plus

• Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

• Experience with cloud-based project management, documentation and tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence, Harvest, etc.)

• The desire to learn new things and to use modern and performant technologies

• High attention to detail and well-organized, having the ability to respect deadlines

• Communication skills and team-player, passionate and enthusiastic, solutions and results-oriented
