IT Project Manager

Cegeka has an exciting opportunity for an IT Project Manager to join us in Bucharest.

Job Proposal  

You will have important opportunities for evolution in your career as our IT organization is part of one regional IT organization, serving 5 countries in Central Europe: Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia.

As IT project manager, you will have the opportunity to lead projects part of IT Project portfolio of the entity, and common IT projects across our region, based on your availability and experience. 

You will interact with central and regional IT-PM team, as well as business stakeholders.

Mission

IT Project manager facilitates the collaboration between the project teams articulating business / operational needs and drive the deployment of Run-the-bank deployment projects. 

His mission will be to plan, organise, and execute projects that are significant in scope and impact, inside of IT project framework. 

Main objectives of project manager are related with delivering in time and budget of projects on which they will be designated as IT-PM (from all the phases of the project, starting with analysis /study till completion), respecting entity IT project methodology framework.

Responsibilities:

• Participate to deployment of IT Governance procedures related to IT project management;
• Participate to global project portfolio governance / roadmap governance with IT providers in the perimeter of their projects: capacity contracted, alerts and blocking points, quality of their services, status of contracts, yearly assessment;
• Assure proper project governance by organising and manage all phases of the project in order to ensure on-time and on-budget completion. Define main control points / deliverables related with their projects, at minimum at least, per project:

• Define clear roles and responsibilities for each stakeholders;
• Implement regular communication / steering committees, including the responsibility for reaching the business’s or client’s needs;
• Prepare project plan, including at minimum critical path for execution;
• Assure project deliverables (business requirements, business analysis, IT requirements, etc.)  by working with all project contributors according to entity project methodology (at least IT Architect, IT Security, IT Compliance, IT Production);
• Follow-up IT budget for project;
• Alerts / risks identified with all project contributors (internal teams and external suppliers); 
• Establish main control points for keep project under control;
• Follow capacity / resource allocation;
• Prepare business tests / UAT preparation and follow execution;

• Calculate and report main KPI for his projects, according to entity reporting needs and central entity roadmap; 
• Participate to IT Budget update process.

Requirements: 

• Specific study & experience, key competences/skills and behaviour are expected;
• BS in Computer Science or Business Information systems or related IT field, or higher education /studies concluded with a bachelor's degree;
• 3 years’ experience in Project Management or proven experience in project management.

 Competencies:

• Good analytical skills;
• Excellent communication skills and ability to deal effectively with customers;
• Knowledge on PM methodology: Waterfall, AGILE;
• Fluent English practice (written and spoken).
