We are looking for an IT Project Manager to be responsible for handling our company's ongoing IT projects. You will be working closely with our IT Department team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution of said plans.

To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in IT project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals
  • Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
  • Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
  • Managing resources for projects, such as computer equipment and employees
  • Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company
  • Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
  • Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
  • Conducting risk assessments for projects
  • Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence

    Requirements

    • Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems, network administration and service desk administration;
    • Project management and leadership skills for managing projects and the teams involved with them;
    • Knowledge and experience in managing ERP (or similar business systems) project; Understanding of ERP implementation;
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues;
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project completion;
    • Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget;
    • Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills;
    • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
    • A bachelor’s degree or master's degree in a related field;
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus;
    • Experience overseeing a construction project;
    • Budget management experience;
    • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods;
    • Experience with SAP products;
    • Experience in logistics/distribution processes;
