IT Security Analyst

Mission

For AKKA technologies, a European engineering and technology consultancy group for all sectors of industrial and tertiary activities, you will be part of the team managing and maintaining the different IT Security tools.

Reporting line Manager IT Security Operations

Description

As member of the Information Security team you will work closely together with the AKKA IT teams.

Being part of the Security Operations team, your primary tasks include:

• Manage the operative AKKA IT security portfolio (SIEM, ….)

• Perform security checks, penetration tests and vulnerability scans

• Monitor, measure and report the efficiency of the security portfolio, with production and analysis of KPIs

• Monitors the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive actions by regularly assessing the deployed security controls

• Manage end-to-end handling of Security Incident , perform investigations, root cause analysis and forensics

• Manage end-to-end handling of Security Vulnerabilities

• Coordinate with all relevant parties: IT, business, supporting functions

Competences

Technical :

• Proven experience in Information Security / IT Security

• Experience with Solutions like SIEM, Splunk, Antivirus, Firewall, Cloud Security, encryption, …

• Experience in ethical hacking, forensics, investigations and documentation

General :

• Basic knowledge of Information Security frameworks (ISTISAX, NIST)

• The ability to work as part of an international team and to build strong relationships with staff and other relevant individuals

• Good organizational skills

• Fluent in English in a professional context

Recommended certifications:

• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CHFI (Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator)

Workplace & Scope

Bucharest. Sporadic travels to other countries are expected to participate in team events and workshops.

The scope of the role is global. (All AKKA Bu & legal entities)
