Purchasing Manager

As a Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for sourcing materials and managing vendors. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for a better deals and find more profitable supliers.

Responsabilities

Conduct research to ascertain the best products and supliers in term of best value, delivery schedules and quality.

Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of service provided.

Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers.

Process payments and invoices.

Keep contract files and use them as reference for the future.

Develop strategies to make sure that cost savings and supplier performance targets are met.

Undertake value for money reviews of existing contracts and arrangements.

Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.

Keep a constant check on stock levels.

Produce reports and statistics on spending and saving.
