IT Software Project Manager

Position Description

• As a mid-sized software outsourcing company that develops projects for the global market, we are searching for experienced IT project managers who are eager to take the lead and responsibility in the development process.
  
• Clarisoft Technologies proudly coordinates projects that are meant to make a difference in the world. Our growing team empowers people around the globe to fight Ebola, run 10k of events for Sony or Amazon, engage 10M+ customers - and this is only a sneak peek. We also built software that is used by successful organizations like the World Health Organization, MIT, CISCO, NASA, Livongo, Push Agency,  Unotifi and many more.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a development for one or many projects confidently and efficiently. PM is the main contact point and he is responsible for the project budget and timeline;
• Ensure the following: Requirement, Estimates, Anticipates averages and blockages, Risk assessment, Planning software & hardware, Task tracking, Reviews and demos, Support, Metrics analysis, Process improvements;
• Create a development plan, ensures team adheres to processes and industry best practices;
• Helps with troubleshooting/root cause analysis when team members are unable to proceed;
• Identifies areas of improvement (training, processes, new tools) that the team needs for long-term objectives;

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills

We would like the candidate to have:

• Project management experience in outsourcing software projects
• Software development experience in minimum one programming language
• Databases experience

Nice to have:

• experience with USA customers

Non-technical skills and values:

• Strong interest in software development.
• Focus on self-improvement.
• Capability to work in virtual teams and/or with remote clients.

Education and certifications:

• Studies in Computers Science, Mathematics or related discipline.
