JAVA & REST API Development

We are currently looking to expand our team with proficient JAVA developer (with relevant RESTful APIs experience).

We have a mature KYC platform to which we constantly add many data sources.

We currently need help with various third party integrations (API services), some are more simple or straightforward (public APIs), other require more logic and are more complex to address (private APIs).

We also need the ability to make adding a new third party integration easy and horizontally scalable to keep up with the data source demand.

Our platform is Java based, we are already 3 persons on various features of the project, all Java devs.

What we are looking for is someone with REST APIs experience, Java (Jackson, Gradle, etc) as well as Docker/Kubernetes, as we envision these services as containerized integrations.

The entire team is remote (US/EU). We are using comm tools (slack, zoom, jira, etc), we all usually sync up in the morning/first part of the day US Pacific Time. Current work to be done is estimated at around 3+months, work is both collaborative and independent; highly flexibile hours commitment and schedule.

We think these are important:

• Experience developing and maintaining complex and scalable web applications (environment management, quality assurance, change management)
• Familiarity with product/project management techniques
• Extensive REST API development experience using Java
• Experience building services that are hosted on AWS and understanding of the basics of AWS infrastructure
• Experience creating Jenkins pipelines
• In-memory processing / Microservices architecture / Serverless
• Strong expertise in Continuous Integration & Delivery
• Java, Jackson, Junit, Gradle, Grizzly, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Junit, Containers, Dockers, Kubernettes, Linux
• PST Timezone availability for conference calls
