What we’re looking for

Voice Portal allows Orange customers to interact with Orange TV services using voice commands across multiple devices. The main focus on the project is to improve the user experience by creating simple and interactive commands that led the user directly to the content that he/she desires on the TV. With commands like: “Turn on TV”, “Search action movies” or “Find a football match” the user is able to seamlessly control his/her TV either with the microphone on the remote or a Google or Alexa speaker.

What you need to know/have:

• Java development skills: coding, testing and debugging new complex software solutions and enhancements to existing software
• High-performance Java for developing applications with Spring Boot, Spring container, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Microservices
• Experience in building high-quality software design architecture
• Previous experience in developing complex software by producing clean, efficient code
• Good communication skills (we enjoy chatting face-to-face, online and over Slack)

As an advantage:

• Mastering Domain Driven Design modeling techniques
• REST API design and integration techniques
• High performance queuing and asynchronous messaging concepts
• Previous practice with continuous integration systems (Jenkins/Gitlab)
• Knowledge on developing Google/Amazon voice skills
• Previous practice with AWS lambdas
