What we're looking for:

Team Malima is managing and monitors fleets of SIMs with millions of records to track, follow and interrogate. We are looking to expand our team with a highly motivated, innovative and results-oriented Java Software Engineer that will help us set an efficient, powerful and highly available system while also keeping an eye on best practices, clean code and enrolling of newcomers.

The project is part of a larger context that involves teams from Romania and France, all working together in an ‘Agile’ manner.

What you'll be doing:

Your responsibilities will include designing, writing and testing of quality code while also defining the architecture of the software.

You’ll need to be ready to understand a huge code base that puts up together lots of functionalities impacting several teams inside the program. These functionalities are constantly tested, and adapted to the need of our clients located in 6 countries around the you’d like to take part in a huge project with challenging, yet satisfying, activities while also keeping up with the fast pace of the team, then this Job is for you.

What you need to know/have:

*At least 3 years experience of working with Java.

*Knowledge on how a clean and maintainable code should look like, maybe even teach us a bit.

*Bring new technologies and evolution propositions to the table.

*Experience with relational databases such as MySQL

*Good understanding of web services SOAP and REST services

*Familiarity with tools like Confluence, JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Maven

*Basic understanding of Docker

*Proactive and teammate that likes brainstorming sessions.

*Experience with different testing strategies and frameworks (examples: BDD, Cucumber, JBehave, Postman)

*Shows creativity and initiative to improve product.

*Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills
